博罗县产业投资集团有限公司成立于2018年3月20日，公司原名称为：博罗产业转移工业园投资发展有限公司。根据县政府对公司的发展规划和县政府常务会议纪要有关精神，原博罗产业转移工业园投资发展有限公司于2023年2月更名为博罗县产业投资集团有限公司，注册资本金由原来的人民币5亿元变更为20亿元，并变更了企业法人，公司类型为有限责任公司（国有独资），是县政府直属管理国有企业，参照正科级建制单位管理。
根据公司章程规定，公司唯一股东为博罗县产业转移工业园管理委员会，由博罗产业转移工业园管理委员会履行出资人职责。公司不设股东会，由国有资产监督管理机构行使股东会职权。
